The following is a semi-detailed list of all the crossovers from other Clamp series in Angelic Layer. Hopefully, this will get you interested in other Clamp works. ^_~ If you have any crossovers to contribute, feel free to email them to me: misaki@subtleness.net ^_^

-- Characters

Hikaru - Misaki's Angel both resembles and is named after Shidou Hikaru of Magic Knight Rayearth. Both their hair is red and their clothes are quite similar. Misaki is even quoted as saying, "Yeah, she'll look like the heroine from a manga I saw a while ago." Obviously, the manga Misaki is talking about it Magic Knight Rayearth. Even their clothes are similar; Hikaru the Angel's clothes are loosely based on Hikaru the Knight's Autozam outfit. Click here to see a picture of Shidou Hikaru-chan.

Hatoko - She's not a crossover character; she just looks an awful lot like Daidouji Tomoyo from Card Captor Sakura. ^^;; Click here to see a picture of Tomoyo-chan. Incidentally, Koutarou's friend is named Tamayo. ^^;

Tamayo - Haruda Sada was kind enough to mention, while not a "crossover" as such, Akiyama Tamayo was a former main artist with the group Clamp. Hmm. Interesting! :o

Eriol - Merrow mentioned a crossover that is quite interesting (nobody else picked up on it! :o) - The academy that Misaki attends is named Eriol, just like, yup, you guessed it - Eriol from Clamp's massive series, Card Captor Sakura. Wow! XD

Kai wrote down a huge list of similarities between characters -
Misaki looks very similar to Sakura from Card Captor Sakura sometimes,
Oujirou is almost identical to Clover's Lan, except their personalities are vastly different
Kaede looks similar to Fuu from MKR, and as Kai mentioned, her name is pronounced the same as Fuu's in Chinese
Icchan looks *kinda* like Touya from CCS if you look hard ^^;
and, Shouko, (I agree with this very much ^^) looks a lot like Miyuki from Fushigi no Kuni no Miyuki-chan!
A lot to ponder there, ne? XD

-- Miscellaneous

Duklyon - Duklyon, the restaurant where Tamayo and Misaki eat in Battle 2, is named after Clamp's "Clamp Police Duklyon," as well as the Duklyon restaurant in Clamp Campus Detectives WHICH is owned by the Clamp Police (another crossover ^^;).

Catch You Catch Me - In Battle 3, Icchan sings a song on a karaoke machine which is the opening theme from the first season of Card Captor Sakura, called "Catch You Catch Me."

Piffle Princess - The store, Piffle Princess is used in a lot of CLAMP series, it has been in Card Captor Sakura [where Li purchased the bear for Sakura] and Dabris has told me that " The 'Piffle Princess' toyshop is were Aoki Seiichiro of "X" has bought some toys for his daughter Yuka-chan's birthday " And, recently, Kitsune informed me that 'Piffle Princess' has been in one of Clamp's lesser known series, Suki Dakara Suki - Hina wears an apron with Piffle Princess on it, as well as in other places. Cool ^^
